Hi everyone!
This year’s December holiday potluck will be on Dec 10 at 6:00 at Anne’s & Alice S’s house at:
Ours is a 2-story salmon-colored house, right at SE 38th and Brooklyn, between Powell and Division. There’ll be Christmas lights on the balcony. There’s always plenty of parking in front of the house and in the Lutheran church parking lot across the street.
Unfortunately, the house is not pet-free and we have cats and a dog. ( :( Sorry, Kathy ).
Don’t forget to bring a “special” white elephant gift for the traditional exchange!
In addition, we propose a little food drive. Bring any cans or boxes or bags of food languishing in your cabinets. I’ll drop them off the next day at the Oregon Food Bank. If you really feel energetic, put up a poster at work & collect some there to bring, too. Here's the food bank's list of most-wanted/unusable foods). Let us know if this sounds ok.
For the potluck, we’ll make some soup and bread. Bring whatever sounds good, and if you reply to all with what you’re bringing, people can figure out what the holes are & fill them. I’ll try to keep the website updated with who’s bringing what & we’ll do a recap a couple of days beforehand.
