Our next second Wednesday dinner will be at the Chapel Pub on 5/09/2007 at 6:30 pm. Holly and Cheeseburger and Rosalinda once worked for Uniservice Corporation who owned The Little Chapel of the Chimes (funeral home and crematory) --- now the Chapel Pub! It should be interesting to see what the McMenamin brothers have done to the place!

The menu will not be unpredictable - burgers, sandwiches, fries, beer and wine. :)

Please let Rosalinda know if you can attend - the Chapel Pub does not take reservations but it would be nice to let them know ahead of time how many of us to expect. Thanks!

A great time with great people, as always! I love McMenamins' places: the beer is super, the buildings are so interesting, and the food is solid pub grub. Chapel Pub definitely did not disappoint in any regard.

So much fun! The food was very delicious - loved the Communication Breakdown burger and love those cajun tater tots! The martini's were good, but too expensive. The building was fascinating - the wrought iron work throughout the building was incredibly beautiful and there were intersting bits of history everywhere. The entry into the parking lot is odd - your instincts lead you one way which turns out to be blocked and you have to go through an alley and back around to the side street to get back to the actual entrance. Maybe this small challenge helps work up an appetite!

I loved seeing what they had done to my old employer's building! It was fun to be back in the neighborhood again to see the changes all around Killingsworth. The Pub had great Cajun tater tots, a good burger & VERY reasonable prices in a comfortable atmosphere. I think this is the most lively I've seen the group this year:) What a great time. Holly
