Hello Everyone,

It's my turn this time and I thought it would be fun to try something a little different -- so it's Ethiopian food for October.

I myself have not been to this restaurant but have received 3 good first hand references.

Please RSVP back to me to let me know if you will be there.

I am looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

"In Short
For decades the corner of Hawthorne and 14th has been the bastion of P-town's spice scene. Exotic flavors and textures beckon loyal locals and curious neophytes, tired of the typical restaurant routine. Sans forks, light-hearted patrons scoop up some seriously spicy dishes using their hands or the house-made injera bread. Veggies and carnivores alike adore the heady flavors of legume-centric meals. Lamb and beef are treated equally well, with heat and complex savor. "

The restaurant was very fun and spacious, we didn't overpower the place. The veggie combo. I had was a bit spicy for my taste, I'd order something milder the next time. Prices were good and service was very good. Thanks Romaine.

I too thought the prices were very reasonable. I had the chicken dish with the mildly spiced veggies & it was just right spice-wise. The waiter (who is probably the owner) had a lovely personality. I found it a welcoming place to our large group.
I enjoyed my dish & the new experience with this type of food!
