Hello to all!
I hope everyone had a great holiday and NewYear's! It is my turn to choose our dinner destination, and I choose Pizza Fino, located at 8225 N. Denver Ave. Portland, OR 97217. I feel like Italian, and noodles, and though the name of the restaurant is Pizza Fino, they do many delicious pasta dishes, too (great salad and panini-style sandwich even!). I know it is shorter notice than normal, but if you could RSVP to me by Friday or Saturday so that I can make our reservation, I would greatly appreciate it. Dinner is at our normal dinning time of 6:30. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

As always, the best part of the evening was the company! I wasn't impressed with the pizza. I enjoy a nice saucy pizza with lots of toppings & this one had a brush of sauce with sparse topping altho I did like the crust. Our waiter did a good job. I heard raves about the penne so that's what I'd try the next visit.
I really liked the pork loin special -- crispy-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside slices of pork over savory white beans and greens. Very very yummy. Beet salad was good too, but a little salty for my taste. Great food in great company!
