For our April 9 dinner, I’ve made a 6:30 reservation at Ichidai, a Japanese restaurant.
Ichidai is located in the SW corner of a little office-style building. As far as parking goes, there are a couple of spots on the east side of the building and a little larger lot on the west side. There’s also a funny little parking loop alongside the south side of Powell between 56th and 57th Ave, just west of the restaurant.

Oh how I love sushi and I ate way too much of it as the quality was excellent. Loved my pork katsu rice bowl, too! Thanks to Paul for the appetizers of fried chicken and gyoza - also excellent. We split a bottle of unfiltered Sake (which I have never tasted before) - delicious!! Great to see everyone and especially nice to have Jo join us this time! Liz
I have never eaten at a Japanese restaurant before & was a bit leary of liking the food but was very pleasantly surprised! My chicken teriyaki & shrimp/veggie deep fry (forgot what they called that) was yummy. I'd go there again! Holly
We went for the sushi, too, and loved it. Paul's karaage fried chicken appetizer (which he was kind enough to send around the table) was great - as good as my mom's! And of course the best company in the world!!
