I am very excited about our next adventure in dining. It will be at a new Ethiopian restaurant that has opened in my neighborhood called Bete-Lukas. I met with the owner, Peter, and his sister, Blaine, and they are just lovely people who welcome the opportunity to have our group experience their cuisine. Peter tells me they prepare true, authentic Ethiopian food and that we will not be disappointed! Please take at look at their web-site.
They are located at 2504 SE 50th St, Suite D - take the stairs to the right up to the 2nd floor. Our reservation is for 6:30 pm on Weds September 10th and please let me know if you will be able to be there - hope so!

This was a great dining experience all the way around. The waiter was very hospitable and accomodating, the food was the best I've had in this genre. I had the fish and it was quite tasty. I would definitely go back and recommend it to my friends.

I really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere was nice with linen tablecloths & napkins plus a crisp/clean and nicely decorated, the waiter had a fun sense of humor, the lamb dish I had was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I will be back! Holly
