Hi All,
In a nod to my Wisconsin roots (fried cheese curds--yum) I thought we would try Hawthorne Fish House at 4343 SE Hawthorne. They share a website with Corbett Fish House. Please let me know if you can come or not. I've made reservations for 12 at 6:30.
They have requested that no more than two people use charge cards, so please bring cash. Oh, and let me know if I've left anyone off the list.

I'd been wanting to try this place for years - thanks for picking it, Kathy! It was like being back in the midwest -- perch, walleye, cheese curds (ok, the upper midwest...) I had a great shrimp louie with just tons of bay shrimp and an excellent porter from Laurelwood. Happy taste buds, not to mention the best company in the world!
I had the cod fish & chips but wasn't impressed with the cod...it was tough but the sweet potato fries were done perfectly. Nice & crispy, not greasy! Holly
