Dinner at Sweet Thai Basil was great. I had the curry Pa Nang with chicken with a mild spice selection. It was a bit spicier than I expected but good. The dish came with jasmine rice arranged like a crescent moon & a star. Very cute. Food presentaion is nice. The Austrailan Outback Shiraz was nice & a great price $4.75. One of the lower wine prices around town I believe. Service was quite slow but the yummy appetizers kept the tummy from growling before the main course arrived. Hollywod

Woooo...You must try Raspberry Mojito. It was soooo good. It was not too sweet or too tart just right. Very nice raspberry flavor not one of those artificial ones. I would go back for the drink!

The crab rangoons were very tasty as were the other appetizers. Molded rice was good but barely lukewarm. The 2 giant prawns were not very good-stringy and dry. The 2 regular shrimp were good. Menu said the seafood was on a bed of spinach and broccoli-turned out to be a small number of broccoli florets and about 10 raw spinach leaves--??? At $15.50 this was a bit pricey. However, I had a great time with the group! And that's the most important thing to me! MaryO

I had the Panang Seafood with Medium spice level - good & hot! The dish had prawns, scallops, mussels, calamari, salmon & a large crab claw - all fresh & delicious. I did not receive a cracking utensil for the claw until I had already managed to open it with a fork & force at the end of my meal. I, too, found the rice to be cold. The appetizers were good and the restaurant's ambiance was vey nice but our server seemed very inexperienced and the wait for our main courses was quite long. They made an excellent Tangueray martini despite the fact that this waiter did not know what Tangueray was. Of course, the company, as always, was a joy and makes up for any small inconveniences we experience.
